During 2007, Ofcom, the independent regulator of the UK communications industry, introduced new legislation surrounding the use of 0870 numbers and introduced 03 'UK wide' numbers. 03 Non Geographic Numbers (NGN's) offer the same functionality as other prefixes and can also receive inbound calls from overseas. Call charges made to 03 numbers will reflect the cost of calling a standard National 01 or 02 prefixed UK landline, and they feature no 'call revenue share'.

They introduced two number categories

• 0300 / 0303 - for use by public services and other not for profit organizations, and we are able to offer numbers with the prefix 0303 666.
• 0330 / 0333 - any organization or end user, and we can offer numbers beginning 0333 555

You can add any of our call management packages to an 03 number, providing call routing and call divert functionality as well as the option of voicemail, call queuing or a virtual switchboard. Calls to 03 numbers will cost the same as calls to geographic numbers (starting 01 or 02), and be included as part of any inclusive call minutes or discount schemes in the same way as geographic calls. This also applies to all Mobile networks.
